Following a lengthy refurbishment, the Haunted Mansion will reopen on July 29th at Disneyland. Disneyland announced the reopening on social media this evening. The Haunted Mansion attraction closed on January 22, 2024, and will reopen as the “holiday” Nightmare Before Christmas version. As part of the refurbishment, the queue has been redesigned. Disneyland released the concept art below.
An all-new retail shop will eventually open as well, celebrating Madame Leota.
When it reopens as Haunted Mansion Holiday, the attraction will utilize a Virtual Queue to manage demand during ongoing construction in the area.
Haunted Mansion Virtual Queue
Haunted Mansion Holiday – Beginning July 29, 2024
A virtual queue will be in place at Haunted Mansion Holiday. Guests will need to use the Disneyland app to request to enter this attraction. A standby queue will not be available at this time.

There are 2 daily opportunities to request to join the virtual queue for Haunted Mansion Holiday:
- 12:00 PM (Noon) – Guests inside Disney California Adventure Park with a Park Hopper ticket or inside Disneyland Park can request to join the virtual queue.
- 7:00 AM – Guests must have a park reservation for Disneyland Park with a one-park ticket or a park reservation for Disneyland Park with a Park Hopper ticket to request to join the virtual queue.
