UPDATE (8:28am): Disney World has acknowledged the issues and posted the following statement:
Pardon the Inconvenience. Annual Pass sales will resume as soon as possible. We thank you for your patience and understanding.
Guests have reached out to us with multiple reports of issues purchasing Annual Passes after they went on sale earlier this morning. The errors started popping up before 8am. An error message on the Disney World website indicates that there is a problem with the checkout process.
Guests who are still in the queue to enter the Disney World website to purchase passes are reporting increased estimated wait times. Disney World has not made an official statement about the reported errors.
