Disney Genie+ is at the highest price point that it has been at in months, with the multiple-parks option pushing nearly $30 per person. The pricing likely increased due to the Columbus Day weekend holiday, and the $29 top-level price for the skip-the-line service matches Fourth of July holiday pricing. Here’s a look at today’s pricing for Genie+ at Walt Disney World:

As luck would have it, guests paying these peak prices are also facing serious issues within the app with widespread reports of the Disney Genie+ service being broken. Return times within the app would suggest that a very select few guests might be experiencing success making Disney Genie+ Lightning Lane selections while the majority of guests are facing errors.
The error guests are experiencing is a slow loading screen saying “Adding a few more magical touches” before an error pops up saying “Your selections aren’t loading at this time. Please refresh your screen or go back to the previous screen to try again. Something went wrong. We’re unable to load your details. The error has been ongoing since 7am.
There was no error when purchasing Disney Genie+, only when making Lightning Lane selections.
Disney World has not made any statements about the broken Disney Genie+ skip-the-line service and refunds are generally not available if the service starts working at some point during the day.
