Ride Testing Begins for Tiana’s Bayou Adventure at Magic Kingdom

For the first time since January 2022, ride vehicles were spotted at Tiana’s Bayou Adventure, taking the 52.5′ plunge over an unchanged iconic drop for Magic Kingdom’s log flume ride. It looks like the attraction will be under construction during the daytime hours, and then testing on select nights as crews prepare Tiana’s Bayou Adventure for a summer 2024 opening at Magic Kingdom.

Here’s a look at the ride testing, captured by drew.in.the.moment on Instagram.

While the set dressing inside and outside the attraction has changed dramatically since the ride operated as Splash Mountain, there are no expected changes to the ride system or track layout. As you might imagine, the carved Brer Rabbit has been removed from the front of the log.
