The National Weather Service has issued a Tornado Watch for Walt Disney World, and other Central Florida counties. The Tornado Watch is currently set to expire at 3pm.
A Tornado Watch means conditions are favorable for tornadoes and severe thunderstorms in and close to the watch area. Persons in these areas should be on the lookout for threatening weather conditions and listen for later statements and possible warnings.
The first few storms moved through Central Florida shortly after 1pm, and will continue throughout the afternoon.
