MuppetVision 3D will have its final day of operation this Summer before closing permanently to make way for an all-new Monsters Inc.-themed land. Here’s the announcement from Walt Disney World.

MuppetVision 3D Closing Date
To make way for the monsters, the Grand Avenue area will begin a phase closing in May, with the last day to dine at Melrose’s Ristorante Italiano on May 10. Following that, Muppet*Vision 3D and PizzeRizzo will close, with the last day to experience both locations on June 7.
As we move forward with these changes, we are having creative conversations and exploring ways to preserve the film and other parts of the experience for fans to enjoy in the future.

As a reminder, The Muppets aren’t being kicked out of Walt Disney World entirely. Instead, they will move over to Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster where the Aerosmith theme will be stripped away and the Muppets will take over. Disney says that the Muppets will be “teaming up with some of music’s biggest stars for a rockin’ music festival!”
Walt Disney World has not announced a closing date for Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster at this time.
The MuppetVision building will remain standing and a new theater show will be taking its place when the Monsters Inc. land opens in the future.

My wife is a huge Muppets fan and has never managed to visit this. I noticed it was closing I wondered if you could give me any advice on myself and my wife traveling over from Scotland to try this ride even if it’s just for one day.
