Construction is underway at the entrance to Disney’s Beach Club Resort as part of a 3-month refurbishment of the exterior of the resort. As a result of the construction, the porte cochere is closed to guests and construction walls surround the area. Disney’s Yacht Club Resort will undergo a similar refurbishment beginning next month. We made it out to Disney’s Beach Club Resort recently to take a look at the work.
Exterior Refurbishment at Disney’s Beach Club, Porte Cochere Closed
Disney’s Beach Club Resort will be undergoing routine exterior maintenance from early June through September 2025. During this time, the porte cocheres will be closed. While efforts will be made to minimize disruptions, construction may be noticeable during daytime hours. All services—including valet, luggage assistance, and transportation—will remain available, and most Resort amenities will continue to be offered.
Regular services such as valet, luggage services, and transportation options remain available here. Buses can’t enter this area because of the limited driveway space. Here’s a look around the construction.
The work at the porte cochere is in addition to work taking place on the exterior of the building. For a look at that work, check out our earlier Stormalong Bay update, which includes some pictures of the nearby work on the exterior of the building.
