Demolition began overnight on the Hollywood Studios archway that (most recently) served as the entrance to the Animation Courtyard area of the park. With Animation Courtyard now closed for a transformation into the Walt Disney Studios Lot, crews have begun the demolition of the archway. Here’s a look!
Hollywood Studios Archway Demolition
As you can see in our photos below, both sides of the archway have been demolished. These contained some old-school carvings of Old Hollywood that we’ll take a closer look at in a future article. Additionally, the Hollywood Studios sign has been removed.
