New Animal Kingdom Map Showcases Zootopia: Better Zoogether

|

Zootopia: Better Zoogether officially opened at Disney’s Animal Kingdom today, and with a new show comes a new park map. The new map is Zootopia, Zootopia, Zootopia, making Walt Disney World’s newest attraction hard to miss. Here’s a closer look and a list of what has changed!

New Animal Kingdom Map (Nov. 2025)

We’ll cover all of the changes in this map versus the previous map (released in September 2025), but the overarching theme is that “Zootopia is here”. The inclusion of Zootopia in Disney’s Animal Kingdom has been a controversial one among fans, and for our thoughts about the new attraction, check out our full review. Ok, on to the new park map.

  • The Zootopia attraction poster is the featured main image. I’m hoping this isn’t the case, but it could be the first time that an all-digital image has been used on the Animal Kingdom park map. Usually, we see photos taken in the park.
  • Rafiki’s Planet Watch loses the featured part of the insert. It is replaced by even more information about Zootopia: Better Zoogether, along with a photo of meetable characters Judy and Nick.
  • More information about shows has been added.
  • The new map removes mention that 2025 is the last year to experience DinoLand USA, but the fact remains that all of DinoLand USA will close in early February 2026.
  • Animal Trails, Tiffins Restaurant, and Tucker House Restaurant remain in the map information section
  • On the inside of the new Animal Kingdom park map, Zootopia: Better Zoogether has been added as an available attraction in the Discovery Island section of the park.
  • Interestingly, Harambe Market remains on the map despite being closed. If I had to read into that, it’s simply that Disney doesn’t plan on rolling out another new map until DinoLand USA will be closed, and Harambe Market will have reopened by then.
  • The addition of Zootopia: Better Zoogether to the map has shifted sections to that Asia is now on a new column.
  • Dino-Bite Snacks and Trilo-Bites have both been removed from the map. They are permanently closed.

And that’s it! Basically, the new map serves as a way to welcome Zootopia: Better Zoogether to the park, and inform guests that it is now open.
