Construction Walls Surround Canada’s Waterfall at EPCOT

Construction walls now block the waterfall walkway at EPCOT’s Canada Pavilion. They close off the ground-level path that runs beside the stream and past the waterfall, and they continue up to the overlook near Hotel du Canada. Here’s a look around the pavilion, which is now dominated by construction walls.

New Construction Walls Close Off Canada Pavilion Waterfall Walkway at EPCOT

IN THIS ARTICLE:

  • Construction walls now line the ground-floor walkway, blocking access to the Canada Pavilion waterfall.
  • The walls extend up to the overlook near Hotel du Canada.
  • Canada Far & Wide remains accessible through two separate entry points.

Construction Walls Enclose the Waterfall Walkway

The walls begin at the ground-floor path that winds along the stream and past the base of the pavilion’s 30-foot waterfall. From there, the wall line continues up to the overlook area near Hotel du Canada.

At the overlook near Hotel du Canada, the walls wrap around the plaza outside the building. Only a narrow path past a few informational placards remains open here. A cloth barrier extends the enclosure further along the hillside above the walkway. That fabric section ties into the taller wall near the hotel’s side entrance.

Access to Canada Far & Wide Remains Available

Guests can still reach the Canada Far & Wide Circle-Vision 360 film. Two paths remain open. Guests who need stair-free access can use the show’s exit corridor to enter. Those using the stairs can head down to the show’s main entrance, tucked between the rock formations.

The Canada Pavilion has seen construction walls in this area before. As we reported when construction walls surrounded Hotel du Canada for eight months in 2023 and 2024, Canada Far & Wide remained accessible throughout that closure too. That earlier work led to a repainted hotel facade. It also eventually made way for the Chateau de Voyage DVC Welcome Home Center that opened inside Hotel du Canada. It’s not yet clear what work is taking place behind the current walls. We also don’t know how long the walkway will stay closed off.
