Latest Look at Space Restaurant Construction in Epcot

|

We made it out to Epcot today to take a look at the entrance construction work, refurbishments, and more. One of our stops was at the upcoming, and unnamed, space-themed restaurant located near Mission: SPACE.

We’ll start with a quick refresher on the restaurant. The new restaurant will be operated by Patina group and feature a menu that has internationally-inspired cuisine, more than 1,000 bottles of the world’s finest wines and a wide selection of craft beer. Here’s a look at the only piece of concept art released so far.

Ok, back to today. We can see a new curved wall has been added since our last visit. Remember, Disney has stated that this restaurant will open later this year.

Disney also has torn off more walls from the old structure, exposing the studs of the building.

Taking a few steps back, we can see that this really will be quite a hidden restaurant. While the photos that we’ve taken above are from a dead end walkway, the vast majority of guests will only see the space restaurant from near the Test Track entrance as seen in the photos below.

Keep checking back with us as we continue to follow the construction of the space restaurant, and all news about Epcot coming out of the D23 Expo later this month!
