The 2022 EPCOT International Festival of the Arts is underway, and as part of our coverage, we’re going to review the Food Studios. Here’s our Deco Delights Food Studio Review.
Deco Delights is a returning Food Studio and is located near Port of Entry.
Dulce Chocolate Mousse (NEW) – $5.25
Dulce Chocolate Mousse with chocolate crémeux and dark chocolate truffle
Deco Delights is the quintessential Festival of the Arts Outdoor Kitchen, and the Dulce Chocolate Mousse is a classic example of why we love the festival. The dessert, of course, is good and has a wide variety of flavors, but it’s also just beautiful.
Decadent Valrhona Chocolate (NEW) – $5
Decadent Valrhona Chocolate with dark chocolate mousse, chocolate brownie, and cassis mousse
The most notable thing about this dish was just how rich and thick the Valrhona chocolate was. A beautiful exterior gives way to a rich chocolate interior.
Orange Mousse – $4.50
Orange Mousse with lemon cake and raspberry meringues
Maybe a little underwhelming compared to the other two dishes, we enjoyed the orange mousse as something with a classic lemon taste and an overall lighter offering. We’re going to take a single star away just to indicate that we think the other two offerings are stronger. Perhaps next year we’ll implement half-star ratings to further drill down on rankings. Probably a 3.5 star dish.
