Pop Eats! Food Studio Review – 2022 EPCOT Festival of the Arts

The 2022 EPCOT International Festival of the Arts is underway, and as part of our coverage, we’re going to review the Food Studios. Here’s our Pop Eats! Food Studio Review.

Pop Eats! is a returning Food Studio and is located near Port of Entry/Starbucks (Traveler’s Cafe).

    Figment Popcorn Bucket – $25

What can be said that hasn’t already? The Figment Popcorn Bucket was the single craziest popcorn bucket release at Walt Disney World in recent memory. It has since sold out, but guests waited up to 6-8 hours to secure their own Figment Popcorn Bucket in the first few days of the 2022 EPCOT International Festival of the Arts.

    Tomato Soup – $5.25

    Tomato Soup with Grilled Cheese

    Rating: 3 out of 5.

This was just okay. The grilled cheese itself was very light on cheese and only saved by a better than average tomato soup. The tomato soup looked better when it was originally handed to us, but waiting 10 minutes for the Pop’t Art cookie meant that the dollop of cream added on top had dispersed a bit.

    Tomato Soup (NEW) – $6.25

Tomato Soup with Bacon, Apple, and Brie Grilled Cheese

    Rating: 3.5 out of 5.

The same, better than average tomato soup is now joined with a bacon, apple, and brie grilled cheese. We added a half star simply because the bacon and apple were good, but WHERE IS THE CHEESE? You can skip both of the tomato soup offerings and not miss out on anything.

    Almond Frangipane Cake – $4.50

Almond Frangipane Cake layered with raspberry jam and Belgian chocolate

    Rating: 3.5 out of 5.

A Pop Eats! staple, the Almond Frangipane Cake is better than it was in years past, but still not up to 4-star status due to inconsistency of serving and some bites being a bit on the dry side.

    Pop’t Art – $4.50

Pop’t Art: Modern-designed sugar cookie with chocolate-hazelnut filling

    Rating: 1 out of 5.

We’re really in the dying days of the Pop’t Art cookie, or at least we should be. What was once a fun play on words is now a lazy, chocolate-filled pop-tart. Time for something new on the menu, Disney.

Here’s a look at a previous iteration of this offering.

    Beverages:

    • Brooklyn Brewery Pulp Art Hazy IPA, Brooklyn, NY – $5/$9 (6oz/12oz)
    • Tomato Soup Can Bloody Mary – $14
