The 2022 EPCOT International Festival of the Arts is underway, and as part of our coverage, we’re going to review the Food Studios. Here’s our Pastoral Palate Kitchen Review.
Pastoral Palate is a returning Food Studio and is located in the Germany Pavilion.

Red Wine-braised Beef Short Rib – $8.25
Red Wine-braised Beef Short Rib with parsnip purée, broccolini, baby tomatoes, and aged balsamic
The delicious red wine-braised short rib returns this year and it was just as good as ever. An impossibly tender short-rib is almost outshined by the parsnip puree and accompaniments.
Wild Boar Cassoulet (NEW) – $9.00
Wild Boar Cassoulet with duck confit, ham hock, and wild boar sausage
New this year is a wild boar cassoulet. The boar sausage was smokey and the dish was well presented.
Opera Cake – $4.75
Opera Cake: Almond joconde, coffee buttercream, and chocolate ganache
This only earns a half-star above average for the presentation. Other than that, a standard chocolate dessert that is otherwise uninspired.
