Work starts on new Peter Pan interactive queue

Work has started this week on a new, interactive, queue at Peter Pan’s Flight in Walt Disney World. Pan, one of the more popular rides in the Magic Kingdom, routinely draws 60-80 minute waits and could use some help when it comes to entertaining guests while they wait in line. Two sets of walls went up this week as work began on the new queue. The first wall covers a portion of the FastPass+ line while the second, larger, wall covers most of the interior standby queue. One thing to note is that this project was supposed to start around September and finish up in time for the holiday season. Now, they are hoping to have it done “in September”. Here is a look at the wall as of yesterday afternoon.

The regular standby queue now starts across from the Tangled restrooms near the Columbia Harbor House. Here is a look at that queue.
Wait times haven’t been affected by this new construction. No word yet on what interactive elements will be included in the queue (and nothing to see on the other side of the wall…yet), but we will keep you updated as changes occur!
