Disney has removed Animal Kingdom Villas – Jambo House from the list of resorts set to reopen in 2020. Previously listed as reopening July 10th, Disney has removed Jambo House from the list of hotels reopening in 2020 completely. Disney took it a step further, completely removing Jambo House from the 2021 inventory too.
We’re not sure what’s going on with Jambo House at the moment, but a spot check on the Disney World website doesn’t show any availability in 2021 right now.

Although itโs been removed from the WDW site, it is confirmed as opening on the DVC Member booking page. Members can still book for the Jambo villas.
I think they removed it from the Disney site because it was causing confusion, with guests thinking the resort itself was opening.
This is what is on the DVC memberโs site:
All Disney Vacation Club Resorts at Walt Disney World are now open with the exception of Disneyโs Animal Kingdom Villas – Jambo House which will open July 10. Disneyโs Animal Kingdom Villas – Kidani Village is open and welcoming home Members and Guests. Members with confirmed reservations at Disneyโs Animal Kingdom Villas – Jambo House prior to July 10, will be transferred to Disneyโs Animal Kingdom Villas – Kidani Village. Upon the reopening of Disneyโs Animal Kingdom Villas – Jambo House, Uzima Pool will also open, however, all other amenities such as restaurants and merchandise locations will remain closed until the rest of the Disneyโs Animal Kingdom Lodge opens. A shuttle from Disneyโs Animal Kingdom Villas โ Jambo House to Disneyโs Animal Kingdom Villas – Kidani Village will be provided where available merchandise locations and restaurants are located.
