It’s a big day at Walt Disney World as construction projects have resumed! As you might remember, we were the first to bring you the news that construction was coming to a halt back when the theme parks closed.
Now with a firm opening date of July 11th, Disney is getting over a one month head start to finish and continue construction projects around Walt Disney World.
As you can see in our photos below, painting has resumed at Cinderella Castle!

Work has also resumed on the Grand Floridian walkway to Magic Kingdom.
Finally, here’s a look at some work underway at the Transportation and Ticket Center, where crews are working on a walkway.

Really curious about Spaceship Earth. We visit every February and would love another chance at it before it goes down for a year or more – assuming the country isn’t deep in another wave of Wuhan by then.
After over 30 trips to WDW, I’ll be back when the magic resumes. I go there to escape from things like masks and “social distancing,” not to embrace them. Plus WDW just isn’t WDW without fireworks, parades, and character meet-and-greets.
