Cinderella Castle Royal Makeover Nears Completion at Magic Kingdom

If you follow us on social media, you probably saw our photos of Cinderella Castle this morning. In this post, we’ll take a closer look at the work, and the little bit of work left to complete the “Royal Makeover”. Here’s a look at the concept art released by Disney when they announced the project.

First, let’s take a look at Cinderella Castle from Main Street USA.

While the above photos were taken at park open, here’s a look at Cinderella Castle under the midday sun.

So, what’s left? There are a few bricks on the east side of the castle that still show the paint-by-numbers that will be finished soon. You can really see the contrast between brick colors here at the base of Cinderella Castle.

Here’s a look at the Fantasyland side of Cinderella Castle.
