Plexiglass Divider Tested on Ride Vehicle at Rise of the Resistance, No Wide Rollout or Capacity Increase Yet

With news that Disney is planning on increasing the pandemic-era capacity of Rise of the Resistance, we decided to head out to Disney’s Hollywood Studios to see if the change had been implemented yet. As it turned out, Disney is still “testing” the concept, although they have publicly stated that the change is coming. When we asked Cast Members about the change, they said that there is only one ride vehicle currently in rotation that has the plexiglass divider installed.

When our boarding group was called, we did not get the ride vehicle with the Plexiglas, but we were able to get a glimpse of it in the first show scene and at unload – just one cycle behind our group. Here’s a closer look.

And here’s a look at the normal ride vehicles.

As always, keep checking back with us here at BlogMickey.com as we continue to bring you the latest news, photos, and info from around the Disney Parks!
