While taking a stroll around World Showcase today, we noticed a few changes in the Morocco Pavilion, which Disney has taken control of after the third-party operator faced financial hardships. Let’s take a look around.
To start, the “Explore Morocco” sign that was originally intended to draw guests into the pavilion has been removed.
This makes a lot of sense as there really isn’t anything to “explore” at the moment. Disney has cleared out the cultural shops that used to offer one of the most unique shopping experiences at EPCOT and turned it into a seating area.
Continuing our tour, the Kidcot setup has been moved to Souk-al-Magreb.
Perhaps the most notable part of this update is a new pop-up bar that takes over an outdoor seating area for the shuttered Tangierine Cafe.
