Updated Look at Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind Entrance, New Paint Scheme

It’s finally the year of the Galaxy – Guardians of the Galaxy, that is. This summer, Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind will open at EPCOT and we took a couple of laps on the monorail this afternoon to get an updated look at the attraction’s courtyard and facade. Here’s a look at the latest progress!

We can see that more panels have been installed on the face of the Wonders of Xandar Pavilion (yes, that’s the name).

As a reminder, here’s a look at the concept art.

Here’s a closer look at the entrance structure, which will likely accommodate a combination of Lightning Lane entries as well as a virtual queue, although neither have been confirmed yet.

Here’s a look at how the courtyard area will integrate with the existing pathways, including the newly reopened area in front of the dormant PLAY! Pavilion.

Looking down towards the east side of the building, we can see a new color scheme, complete with some theming on the side of the “ribs” of the building.

Here’s another look at the ribs from ground level within EPCOT.

Finally, here’s a wide look at the pavilion, and the western ribs that have not received the updated color scheme.
