According to BlogMickey.com sources, Disney is working on adding new functionality to the My Disney Experience app that will help you find your car. After a long day at the parks, your adventure should end with a monorail ride back to the parking lot, or, if you’re lucky, a parking lot tram ride. However, for some guests, the adventure is just beginning. With over 300 acres of combined parking at its four theme parks, Disney World has tens of thousands of spaces and you have to find just one.
Now, Disney is looking to make that end-of-the-day walk back to the parking lot a little easier by building a Car Locator functionality into the My Disney Experience app. Details are still scarce, but if Disney goes through with the project, we expect it to be rolled out sometime in the month of April. From what we understand, a final go-ahead has not been given yet, but we should know more in the coming weeks.
