Spanish translations have started rolling out in the My Disney Experience and Disneyland apps. Disney confirmed the change is now live, following up on plans it first outlined back in May. Most of the app is updated, though a couple of key pages are still catching up. Here’s what’s live now, and what isn’t yet.

The Story So Far

Spanish Translations Are Live in My Disney Experience App

Disney has confirmed that Spanish translations are now available in the My Disney Experience app, with some exceptions.

This is the first time either app has offered guest-facing translation beyond English since launch. It brings the mobile apps guests use for day-to-day planning, wait times, dining reservations, Lightning Lane, into closer alignment with the website experience Spanish-speaking guests have had access to for years. Additional languages may follow, but Spanish is the first to roll out.

Some Pages Are Still English-Only

Disney noted that there are some pages that aren’t covered yet. According to Disney, Mobile Order menus and Mobile Merchandise checkout are not available in Spanish at this time. Guests placing a mobile food order or checking out for merchandise through the app will still see those particular flows in English, even with Spanish selected everywhere else in the app.

Disney didn’t say when those two pages might catch up. Disney will likely update all pages in the future.

What’s Next

This lines up with what Disney told media in May, when Spanish was named as the first additional language planned for My Disney Experience, with more languages possibly following down the road. The rollout is underway.

Spanish language support should be the first of a wave of new features for the My Disney Experience app as Disney aims to make planning a Disney vacation easier for all guests.
