As guests eagerly await the Memorial Da…ahem, summer 2022 opening of Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind, Disney Imagineer Zach Riddley has not only shared new photos of the queue, but also a fun detail for fans of the prior attraction in the corner of EPCOT where Cosmic Rewind sits – the Universe of Energy.
In response to a comment about any Universe of Energy references in the attraction, Riddley quipped “who says there is just one?”
Back in October 2019, we learned that the Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind attraction will deal with time travel, even blasting guests back to the Big Bang – a topic of conversation in Ellen’s Energy Adventure.
Disney has not (really) officially announced an opening date for Cosmic Rewind, but with work seemingly wrapping up on the outside, and test and adjust operations underway on the inside, we could be weeks away from the start of previews ahead of an expected late-May debut.
