We’ve finally made it – the year when TRON Lightcycle Run will open at Magic Kingdom. After breaking ground for the construction site back in February 2018, and a long, winding road since then, TRON Lightcycle Run has hit another milestone at Magic Kingdom – the removal of construction walls. While we’re still a couple of months away from the official opening, work has nearly wrapped up on the pathways around the attraction. The attraction itself has been functionally complete for a very long time. With the construction walls removed, previews can begin at a higher capacity than the limited human rider testing that we first spotted last summer. Here’s a look at the temporary hedges that replaced the construction walls recently!

Over in Tomorrowland, the main entrance to the attraction lies beyond a walkway that will run between the Space Mountain gift shop to the right and the Tomorrowland Speedway to the left.

In Storybook Circus, a walkway will connect to the path near the Barnstormer extended queue and allow guests to walk between Tomorrowland and Storybook Circus once again. Some more work needs to be completed before the walkway can open to guests.
