Ahead of Joy’s June 10th debut at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, the Inside Out meet and greet has ended at EPCOT. Yes, Joy has left EPCOT (which is currently the draft title for no less than three other articles). Joy had her last meet and greet in EPCOT this past weekend, and now the Imagination Land backdrop sits dark and the meet and greet stanchions have been removed. We first reported about the move back in March.
Here’s a look at the area today.
Across the way, lines to meet Figment don’t really accumulate unless the dragon is visible, and even then, the queue was only 2-4 groups deep this afternoon. You can see an empty line exactly 35 seconds before Figment appeared from the Dreamport nearby. To be fair, Figment has been removed from the My Disney Experience app for some reason, so maybe guests are having a tough time finding him.
Here’s a look back at Joy! There is no word on what, if anything, might take over the former meet and greet space.
