As we continue to keep an eye on the work taking place to transform the former Tomorrowland Light & Power Co. into the gift shop of the future, a new rumor is into BlogMickey.com about what the name of the shop could be when it reopens. According to BlogMickey.com sources, the reimagined gift shop will reopen as the “Tomorrowland Launch Depot”.

The shop will be completely reimagined and still function as the Space Mountain exit, but also feature a new entrance from the TRON Lightcycle Run side of the building as well. The gift shop will also feature new window displays along the walkway that leads to the TRON Lightcycle Run attraction.

An opening date for the Tomorrowland Launch Depot has not been set and construction is expected to continue over the next few weeks at least.
