The pavement refurbishment project that we’ve been keeping an eye on is making progress over in the Planetary Plaza, aka the Mission: SPACE courtyard. The last time we checked in on the project, the courtyard was mostly dirt, but now new pavement has been poured and crews will soon work on getting the electrical to work and returning some of the theming details that really made the plaza a spot to visit – even if you aren’t going to ride Mission: SPACE (I can’t blame you).
Here’s a look at the area from our visit to EPCOT earlier today. While the plaza is blocked by shrubs, the attraction remains open to guests.

The planets themselves have not received a refurbishment yet, but it is likely on the menu given how sun-damaged they are.
