While visiting EPCOT recently, we noticed that even more pilings have driven deep into World Showcase Lagoon as the construction envelope expands around the central electrical vault. Here’s a look at the ever-expanding piling forest in World Showcase Lagoon.
While walking around World Showcase, it was easy to see just how much these pilings have expanded from their original footprint. The piling forest now completely surrounds the original electrical vault in the middle of the Lagoon. Note that the additional floating fireworks launch points that you see are just for EPCOT Forever. We typically visit earlier in the day than we did yesterday, which is why our photos usually don’t have the additional fireworks launch points.
