As Disney World settles into the new Annual Passholder “Good-to-Go” days, they have finally added an indication within the My Disney Experience app that lets guests know if they need to make a reservation or not.
As seen in our screenshot, guests will have a card within the homepage of the My Disney Experience app that indicates whether or not a theme park reservation is required for the day. Located just above the park hours, but below the “Upcoming plans” section of the homepage, guests will see a message that says that “you can visit one or more of our theme parks today without a theme park reservation”. The info card does not use the “Good-to-Go” verbiage, but that verbiage isn’t used very much at all outside of PR releases.
If you click on the “Learn More” button, you will be redirected to the Walt Disney World website, where you will be asked to log in to learn more about which of your Friends and Family are also able to visit the parks without a Disney Park Pass theme park reservation.
The whole process of the app throwing you to the website is a bit cumbersome, but that’s how the app has functioned as it relates to the Park Pass system since its inception. There is no way to view the “Good-to-Go” days calendar inside the app. Currently, Disney World has released a list of “Good-to-Go” dates through February 1st, but will roll out more dates days or weeks at a time. The in-app indicator is only available on the date of a “Good-to-Go” day and will disappear on dates when a theme park reservation is required for your pass type.

- Home screen of the My Disney Experience app (if their pass is linked to their Disney account)
