Refurbishment Expands at Pirates of the Caribbean Clock Tower in Magic Kingdom

|

The clock tower at the Pirates of the Caribbean attraction is now completely behind scrims as crews refurbish the structure. The last time we checked in on the project, only about half of the tower was covered in scrims. Officially titled Torre del Cielo, the clock tower has been under refurbishment since January. Some demolition has taken place near the base of the clock tower, but the clock tower itself is expected to remain in place, and even receive a fresh coat of paint.

Here’s a look at the work from a recent visit to Magic Kingdom.

The Pirates of the Caribbean attraction remains open and unaffected by the work.
