An advisory on the Hong Kong Disneyland website says that operation of outdoor attractions has been suspended due to expected adverse weather conditions as Typhoon Yagi approaches. The storm strengthened into a typhoon earlier today, and it is expected to reach the strength of a major hurricane before it makes landfall south of Hong Kong. Here’s the advisory:

Hong Kong Disneyland Typhoon Yagi

Strong Wind Signal No. 3 has been issued by the Hong Kong Observatory. The Park remains open with outdoor attractions suspended. For latest show times and attraction availability, please check our official mobile app or approach our cast members. Please see Weather Arrangement details.

Hong Kong Disneyland is currently closed for the day, with operating hours of 10:30am to 8pm. Typhoon Yagi is expected to make landfall well south of Hong Kong, and the Hong Kong Observatory is expected to continue issuing advisories as the typhoon passes to the south over the next 2-3 days.

At this time, Hong Kong Disneyland plans to remain open, with modified outdoor attraction operations as noted in the advisory above.
