Walt Disney World Cancels Select Outdoor Tours Due to Hurricane Helene

    In addition to the recent announcements that Typhoon Lagoon and mini golf courses will be closed on Thursday, September 26th and Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party has been cancelled, Walt Disney World has announced additional cancellations.

    Walt Disney World Tours Cancelled Due to Hurricane Helene

    The following tours and Enchanting Extras Collection experiences are cancelled for Thursday, September 26:

    • Savor the Savanna
    • Up Close with Rhinos
    • Walking with Giants
    • Wild Africa Trek

    There are no other operational impacts announced for the Walt Disney World theme parks at this time, but we expect that there will be closures and adjustments for shows, experiences, and attractions outdoors as rain and wind move through the area on Thursday.

    Additionally, Walt Disney World has announced that pools at Disney Resort hotels will continue to operate or close under normal conditions.
