First Look at Redesigned Jack Skellington Debuting at Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party

Ahead of the start of the Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party season at Magic Kingdom, Walt Disney World has shared a first look at a redesigned Jack Skellington. Disney teased Jack Skellington’s new look back in May, but now they have released a first look at Jack and Sally ahead of tonight’s debut event for Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party.

New Look for Jack Skellington

Before we take a look at Jack Skellington’s new look, here’s a look back at what Jack Skellington has traditionally looked like in recent years at Walt Disney World. As you can see, his head was somewhat oddly shaped, but it allowed for a speaking interaction with Jack Skellington. Honestly, the interaction with Jack and Sally is one of my favorites of the season due to the ability to have a conversation with them.

After teasing a new look for Jack Skellington back in May, Walt Disney World has released a first look! As you can see below, Jack’s head has been completely redesigned to more closely resemble what you remember from the Nightmare Before Christmas film. In fact, it looks like Sally looks a little different too, with some updated stitching – especially around her eyes.

In addition to Jack’s improved head design, it looks like his hands have been redesigned along with a new suit. The duo are looking better than ever, and I’m sure the redesign will lead to long lines throughout Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party this year.

While our focus is on the upcoming Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party, Jack’s new look will be found in other theme parks around the world, including at the Disneyland Resort.
