Guests looking to get out of the heat and enjoy either a film showcasing the grandeur, charm, and romance of one of Europe’s most enchanting countries or a Beauty and the Beast Sing-Along will be able to do so in just a few short weeks. Walt Disney World has announced a reopening for the Palais du Cinema and the films it contains at EPCOT. Here’s the latest!

France Films Reopen May 10th at EPCOT

After a nearly 3-month refurbishment, the Palais du Cinema will reopen May 10th at EPCOT. Disney has confirmed that both the Impressions de France film and the Beauty and the Beast Sing-Along will return on that date.

The Palais du Cinema closed on February 22nd for what Disney described as a routine refurbishment. We assume that means some fresh carpet and reupholstered seats, but exact details have not been announced.

Unfortunately, Disney will continue to present the Impressions de France film on a limited basis, with less than two hours of total operations on the schedule. Currently, Impressions de France is scheduled to run for 30 minutes at park opening, and then an hour and 45 minutes at park close.

The bulk of the operating schedule will be devoted to the Beauty and the Beast Sing-Along.
