The 2022 EPCOT International Festival of the Arts is underway, and as part of our coverage, we’re going to review the Food Studios. Here’s our L’Arte di Mangiare Food Studio Review.
L’Arte di Mangiare is a returning Food Studio and is located in the Italy Pavilion.
Arancini (NEW) – $14
Arancini: Fried risotto balls stuffed with braised-beef and served with pomodoro sauce
A 2-star dish gets a half-star knocked off for the outrageous price point. That said, things will get worse before they get better…
Ravioli alla Boscaiola (NEW) – $13
Ravioli alla Boscaiola: Sweet sausage ravioli, mushrooms, caramelized onions, and creamy Parmesan sauce
A terrible pasta dish at an even worse price point. 1 star because it’s edible, if only barely.
Bomboloni – $11
Bomboloni: Chocolate-hazelnut Italian doughnut with powdered sugar
A rare ray of sunshine in an otherwise pointless Outdoor Kitchen is the Bomboloni. Again, overpriced, but our doughnut was fresh and the coffee-flavored sauce that comes in a chocolate coffee cup is more effort than we’ve maybe ever seen from the Italy booth.
