New Bag Check at Magic Kingdom Main Entrance Nears Completion

There’s work happening across Walt Disney World to redevelop park entries to create a more streamlined approach through security and the turnstiles. Such work is happening right outside of The Magic Kingdom.

After guests disembark buses a tent is currently being used for security screening and bag check. This is only a temporary structure, the real permanent one has been being constructed for a while and is now appearing to be near completion. On a recent visit to Magic Kingdom we stopped to snap a few pictures of the future bag check for resort guests getting off of buses.

We saw workers on ladders completing the roofing fixture today. With the way construction ramped-up on this project we anticipate it to be completed before the holiday rush in a few weeks.
