Demolition of Innoventions West at EPCOT Continues with Teardown of Former Art of Disney Facade

Perhaps you should turn left for a while when walking under Spaceship Earth. The demolition of the former Innoventions West structure continues with the teardown of the former Art of Disney facade. Here’s a look back at the space back when Disney closed a year ago, almost to the day.

Now for a closer look at what guests get a view of when exiting to the Future World west side of Spaceship Earth.

Adjusting our viewing angle a bit, we can see the last bits of the two-story space that used to feature the EPCOT Teacher’s Center, but was not used in recent years.

Here’s another look at the gutted Innoventions West building. This entire are will be demolished to make room for Journey of Water – Inspired by Moana.
