According to the Disney Park Pass availability calendar, Magic Kingdom is sold out for all ticket types on October 1, 2021 – Walt Disney World’s 50th Anniversary day.
Of course, this shouldn’t be of too much concern for guests who missed out as Disney is likely to open up more availability as we get closer to the actual date. Disney has, rather consistently, added more availability to the Disney Park Pass reservation system as any given date approaches. Just yesterday, Disney opened up all availability for all ticket types at all theme parks for the remainder of January.
Disney has not announced any celebration plans for the 50th anniversary yet, but has promised a lineup of new attractions including Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure, TRON Lightcycle Run, and Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind, to name a few. Whether or not those previously announced attractions hit their deadline remains to be seen.
