‘Walt the Dreamer’ Statue Arrives at Disney World Ahead of Installation in EPCOT

The ‘Walt the Dreamer’ statue is now in Florida after being presented at the D23 Expo in Anaheim, CA in September. Guests attending the D23 Expo could snap a selfie with the actual statue that will be installed in EPCOT next year as Disney completes the World Celebration section of the park.

The statue was recently on display for Cast Members attending the Walt Disney Legacy Award Celebration at Disney’s Contemporary Resort.

When installed, the statue will sit right “behind” Spaceship Earth and guests will be able to walk up to it like the Roy Disney and Minnie Mouse statue at Magic Kingdom.
