A severe thunderstorm passed through the Walt Disney World area this afternoon and produced hail across Walt Disney World property. According to social media posts, Animal Kingdom received the worst of the storm and had pea-sized to golf-ball-sized hail, but there was hail reported across all four theme park areas.
Social media users also reported hail at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, which sits just east of Animal Kingdom.
Some users even reported hail in the Magic Kingdom area.
Guests visiting EPCOT also reported hail in the area.
