We’re less than a month away from the Destination D23 event at Disney’s Contemporary Resort at Walt Disney World, and with the third fiscal quarter wrapped up, Disney released a list of opening timelines for key attractions and experiences. Here’s a look at everything on the (non-exhaustive) list!
Walt Disney World Resort
- Fall 2023 – Journey of Water, Inspired by Moana
Located in World Nature, the Journey of Water attraction will be a self-guided walk through nature trail that will show guests the cycle that water takes to sustain life on Earth. - Late 2023 – World Celebration
World Celebration is both a neighborhood within EPCOT and a collection of offerings. CommuniCore Hall and Dreamers Point reside within World Celebration. - 2024 – Tiana’s Bayou Adventure
Tiana’s Bayou Adventure is the name for an attraction that will replace Splash Mountain at both Disney World and Disneyland.
Disneyland Resort
- August 31 – San Fransokyo Square
Reimagined section of Disney California Adventure themed to San Fransokyo from Big Hero 6. - September 28 – The Villas at Disneyland Hotel
A new Disney Vacation Club expansion - 2023 – Adventureland Treehouse
Rethemed version of Tarzan’s Treehouse in Disneyland Park - 2023 – Pixar Place Hotel
Rethemed version of the Paradise Pier Hotel - 2024 – Tiana’s Bayou Adventure
Disney Cruise Line
- October 28 – Australia and New Zealand sailings begin
- June 2024 – Lighthouse Point
New private island for select Disney Cruise Line sailing - FY 2025 – Disney Treasure
- FY 2025 – Unnamed ship
- FY 2026 – Unnamed Wish-class ship
Hong Kong Disneyland Resort
- November – World of Frozen
New Frozen-themed land in Hong Kong Disneyland
Shanghai Disney Resort
- Late 2023 – Zootopia-themed land
Tokyo Disney Resort
- Spring 2024 – Fantasy Springs land
New themed land for an expansion at Tokyo DisneySea theme park

I can’t wait for see a sneak preview of every upcoming attractions and projects at EPCOT and Disney Parks, Experience and Products in Destination D23 2023 event at Walt Disney World Resort in Orlando!!!
Because it is rumored that Spaceship Earth: Our Shared Story as fifth renovation of this ride, PLAY! Pavilion, new unnamed Mary Poppins teacup spinner ride and new Wondrous China film are all still put on hold at EPCOT, which would be announced at Destination D23 2023 event!!!!
And also, it is rumored new unnamed Avengers Multiverse ride, new unnamed nighttime spectacular show for Disney 100 celebration, new unnamed Zootopia and Moana attraction and more are all still coming to Disney Parks, Experience and Products, which would be announced at Destination D23 2023 event!!!!
And furthermore, I can’t wait for see the updated version of the concept art for the map of four neighborhoods of EPCOT, including CommuniCore Hall and Plaza, Journey of Water and more!!!
