Monorail Green Returns from Second Wave of Refurbishment with New Black Deltas

Monorail Green has returned to the highway in the sky following a second wave of refurbishment. As we reported back in October 2022, the Walt Disney World monorail system was set to embark on a second round of refurbishments just a few months after the first round of refurbishment was completed. We’re told this was because the first round of refurbishment took so long that Disney actually changed what it was that they wanted to fix or upgrade midway through the refurbishment process. That meant that some of the monorails early in the first round of refurbishment would need to go back to the barn for a second wave of refurbishment.

Monorail Green finished its first round of refurbishment back in 2019, and then went back for a second round of refurbishment earlier this year. Now, Green is back in the rotation with some new black deltas, but other changes appear to be out of guest view. As one of our fellow passengers succinctly put it, the monorail still “smells like horse—-“.

Here’s the new look for Monorail Green, which also includes the “Walt Disney World Monorail System” branding at both the front of the train and the back.
