While visiting EPCOT recently, we noticed that the attraction sign for Mission: SPACE had been removed and replaced with some shrubs. While it’s possible that the attraction sign removal is related to the ongoing exterior refresh of the attraction, it’s also possible that it has been removed permanently, or will be replaced by an updated sign.
Over at The Seas with Nemo & Friends, we saw the attraction sign removed too as part of an exterior refresh of the attraction, but a temporary sign stood in its place during the work. There is no temporary sign at Mission: SPACE.

Other signage remains in place such as the attraction warning sign and the illuminated sign in Planetary Plaza. Normally, the Earth would be behind the Planetary Plaza sign, but refurbishment is still ongoing.
