At today’s Disney Experiences panel at the D23 Brazil expo, Disney Parks Chairman Josh D’Amaro presented Disney’s vision for the future of its theme parks and cruise line division. The announcements were mostly reheated from the D23 Expo this past August, but there were some new details shared, including new concept art for a Moana parade float coming to Magic Kingdom’s new parade – Disney Starlight.
Moana Float Concept Art for Disney Starlight Parade
In this new concept art, we can see the popular wayfinder in her iconic canoe atop a wave. Moana is joined by Pua and HeiHei on her canoe. The entire float glows for the new Disney Starlight nighttime parade set to debut in Summer 2025 at Magic Kingdom. This is the first time that Moana has been confirmed for the new nighttime parade.
Previously released concept art for the new parade showcases the Blue Fairy, Peter Pan and Wendy, and Elsa in front of Cinderella Castle. Another piece of concept art released at the D23 Expo in August showcases the Encanto float, featuring Mirabel, Isabela, and Bruno.
