Nearly 3 months after it first opened, GEO-82 glassware is finally available to purchase. A wine glass and a rocks glass, both branded with the GEO-82 logo, are now available for guests to buy. This comes after months of no availability, the reason for which is unknown. We made it out to GEO-82 last night to check it out!
GEO-82 Glassware Now Available for Purchase
Despite an announcement that the souvenir glassware would be available on opening day, it wasn’t. As a goodwill gesture, Disney offered complimentary glassware to guests dining at the location during its opening days. Interestingly, Disney had enough of each type of glassware to hand out to guests as a complimentary gift during the opening few days of the adults-only bar, but never sold the souvenir glassware. It seems like inventory wasn’t an issue if they’re being handed out for free to everyone who dined there, but perhaps that was the case.
Another reason communicated to us early on was issues with the My Disney Experience app and the Mobile Checkout option that the venue wanted to use. When the menu was first announced, Disney said that the souvenir glassware would be available via mobile order for guests dining at the location. That never happened.
Whatever the reason, both the wine glass and the rocks glass are now available to purchase. We made it out to GEO-82 yesterday evening to grab a drink and some photos of the glassware that is now available for guests with a reservation to purchase.
First, here’s a look at the display case located in the upstairs waiting area. Only guests with active reservations to GEO-82 are allowed up to the second-floor waiting area, and only guests with a GEO-82 reservation are able to purchase the souvenir glassware.
The Luigi Bormioli wine glass, created with traditional Italian craftsmanship and new-age glassmaking technology, features lead-free crystal of the highest quality and is dishwasher safe.
This was our first time returning back to GEO-82 in a number of weeks, and everything was just as good as we remember. I only took a couple of photos, but our table worked through a few drinks and some appetizers. Pictured below is my Brown Butter Old Fashioned and Cannellini Hummus. I still wish that there was something other than the brittle pappadam offered for the hummus, but that’s not why we’re here.
In order to purchase the souvenir glassware, you’ll have to let your server know. There is no Mobile Order or any sort of point of sale area where you can purchase the glassware. The only way is to order through your server. I prefer this versus the planned Mobile Order. It’s a slightly elevated experience and makes it feel more like a memento of your visit than a merchandise item.
Being used to how Disney operates, we limited ourselves to two items per person. Actually, we limited ourselves to just two items per check. Those limits were self-imposed. A purchase limit was not communicated to us or posted anywhere, although I’m assuming it exists. Come to think of it, Disney never communicated a purchase limit in their initial blog post about the souvenir glassware, so it’s possible that it’s a free-for-all. Either way, we simply purchase what we’ll use.
Our purchases were delivered in a beautiful GEO-82-branded bag, complete with Spaceship Earth design in the side gussets. The bag alone deserved its own photo shoot, so we’ll start there!
And here’s a look at the souvenir glassware! Each comes individually packaged and safely wrapped. Of course, I would suggest finding a safe spot for the bag and glassware instead of lugging them around for the day, but they should be fine. We’ll take a closer look at each in a second.

Both the wine glass and the rocks glass feature a pattern at their base that will create a reflection of the liquid that looks like the exterior of Spaceship Earth.

Both the wine glass and the rocks glass feel good in the hand, with the rocks glass in particular having a good amount of weight to it. I hardly buy any merchandise, but of all the things that you could spend $35 on at Walt Disney World, this feels like a good purchase.
If you’re looking to secure one of these souvenir glassware items yourself, know that you will need a GEO-82 reservation to be able to purchase. The purchase will go through your server, and be added to your bill.
If you’re looking for reservations to GEO-82, Walt Disney World is seemingly holding some back, or making more available 48 hours in advance. Maybe we just got lucky, but we were able to secure a party of 5 just a couple of hours before we visited. Good luck!
