Reimagined Garden View Lounge Tea Room Revealed at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort

|

Good morning from Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort, where the construction walls are down, and we’re getting a first look at the reimagined Garden View Lounge tea room. Like the rest of the lobby of Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort, the lounge underwent a complete reimagining. Here’s a first look!

First Look at Reimagined Garden View Lounge at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort

As previously announced, the Garden View tea experience will reopen on March 19th at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort. Reservations open February 19th. The reimagined lounge has touches that play off the concept of the iconic birdcage opening, releasing the birds that were inside. Of course, there haven’t been real birds in the birdcage for quite some time. Disney recently removed the birdcage and replaced it with The Perch, a new lobby bar.

While the lounge still has stanchions up to block guests from entering, we were able to get a pretty good view of the refreshed space. Here’s a look around!

Intricate wooden birdcage decor placed on a window ledge with stained glass windows in background.
Beautiful light-filled dining area with white and gold furniture, overlooking backyard.
Bright, sunlit lounge with Disney-inspired decor and comfortable seating options.
Elegant modern chandelier featuring crystal drops, hanging above a large arched window.
