Disney will begin the process of demolishing and relocating the Leave a Legacy photos this weekend. The demolition is part of the reimagining of the Epcot entrance into the concept art below.

As part of this transition, walls will go up around the west side of Leave a Legacy beginning overnight on Sunday, May 19 into Monday, May 20. These walls will remain in place throughout the duration of the west side construction through summer of 2019. Following the completion of the west side construction, walls will go up around the east side of Leave a Legacy.

The new location of Leave a Legacy will be unveiled in 2020, and will include refreshed photos along with a wayfinding system for Guests to locate their pictures.

As a reminder, the granite monoliths will be demolished and the photos will be installed in a new display.
