According to data collected by thrill-data.com, Walt Disney World average wait times were the highest that they’ve been since pre-pandemic times yesterday, February 20th as crowds descend on Central Florida for Presidents’ Day Weekend.
The average wait time for a ride at Walt Disney World yesterday was a whopping 57 minutes! That’s four minutes higher, on average, than even the Christmas holiday period, and 24 minutes higher than average wait times.
The longest average wait times were awarded to the following attractions:
- Avatar Flight of Passage – 134 minutes
- Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance – 128 minutes
- Twilight Zone Tower of Terror – 125 minutes
- Frozen Ever After – 122 minutes
- Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure – 119 minutes
- Slinky Dog Dash – 116 minutes
- Seven Dwarfs Mine Train – 100 minutes

While the theme parks remain at capacity for the next few days, it’s clear that “capacity” is still quite high and that crowds continue to flow into Bay Lake, FL to enjoy Walt Disney World.
Another significant factor is the undeniable impact that Lightning Lane (or any skip-the-line service) has on the standby queue. With up to 50% of guests purchasing Disney Genie+ and/or Individual Lightning Lane, and with up to 90%+ of attraction capacity dedicated to Lightning Lane, experiencing an attraction through a standby queue will require some patience.
