We’re nearly 6 months into the Disney Genie implementation at Walt Disney World, and we’ve had a mixed bag of experiences with the suite of offerings. As Disney continues to tweak the service and even the marketing verbiage for it, they are pushing even harder for guest feedback. While a lot of our coverage has been about the paid Disney Genie+ offering, Disney wants to know if guests are enjoying the free Disney Genie offering.
In short, Disney Genie is a free itinerary optimization tool that informs guests on how they should plan out their day at the Disney World theme parks. There is no skip-the-line option with Disney Genie. To unlock that option, you have to pay for Disney Genie+. We recently tried Disney Genie+ at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, and you can read about our experience in the article below.
Back to Disney Genie. Disney typically sends post-experience surveys to guests via email, but with Disney Genie, they’re looking to capture guest feedback right in the My Disney Experience app. Here’s a look at a recent in-app survey that we got while at the parks.
In the survey, Disney wants to know how much of the itinerary plan guests followed and if they found the recommendations helpful. Disney also wanted to know how well the service worked for guests when considering the attractions and entertainment that guests listed as a top priority.
